The Atlanta Braves have appointed Tim Hyers as their new hitting coach following a significant staff overhaul by manager Brian Snitker. Hyers, who previously worked with the Texas Rangers and contributed to their 2023 World Series win, takes over from Kevin Seitzer, who was let go after a disappointing season.
Along with Seitzer, assistant hitting coach Bobby Magallanes and catching coach Sal Fasano were also dismissed. Hyers brings a wealth of experience, having coached with the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers, and has a notable background as a player in the MLB.
